Client Portfolio Manager

A global fintech organization is looking for a Client Portfolio Manager to join the team in Riga. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in dealing, trading, and account management, and will be responsible for trading account setup, relationship management, and deal execution within a portfolio of corporate clients.

Professionals in this role provide tailored strategies to help clients manage FX risk, plan and structure deals, and ensure optimal value. Top performers often progress to leadership positions, training and mentoring future team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a portfolio of corporate clients, executing a range of financial products such as FX hedging, lending, payments, and cash management.
• Promote a diverse suite of financial solutions to maximize client proposition.
• Work closely with a successful sales team to originate business, understanding client strategies and industry environments to offer best-fit solutions.
• Maintain awareness of the competitive landscape to strategically position financial offerings.
• Expand existing business and provide feedback to technology and product managers.
• Source new opportunities through networking and client referrals.

Requirements:

• Strong background in Financial Services, specifically in sales or relationship management, with an established network of contacts.
• Experience working in FX institutions, commercial banks, or with financial instruments targeted at SME and corporate clients.
• Academic qualifications in Business or Finance are advantageous.
• Outstanding communication skills with the ability to drive commitment and engagement.
• Advanced technical capabilities, including statistical and fundamental analysis and risk management.
• Demonstrated success in identifying and capturing new business opportunities.
• Skilled negotiator with proven ability to build senior-level relationships.
• Fluency in Latvian and strong proficiency in English.
